The new flights launch in September for some domestic routes and in October and November for other flights. Customers will be able to purchase these new flights starting June 14 on the American Airlines website.

The airline said it launched the new routes to meet increased customer demand.

“Earlier this year we added more flights from Austin, and customers have spoken: they want more,” said Brain Znotins, American’s vice president of network planning. “We’re eager to offer our customers even more opportunities to reconnect with family, friends and colleagues. Together with our partners, we’re making it easier than ever to connect Austin with the world.”
